Electric Challenge

Last years IC champions, now in Year 10, have decided to undertake a new challenge by entering the electric competition.

The basic kit has arrived from Formula Schools, the design is based on the aerodynamic work conducted on the IC car, which can be found under the bodywork section. The dimensions need to be slightly altered to fit the chassis but the basic shape remains the same.

The chassis is the be cut from aluminium initially to build a prototype. However we are planning to make the race chassis from carbon fibre, our experience with the IC car last year proved to us how effective and strong carbon fibre is.
